1m customers affected yet fine is roughly £10 per customer but banks seem to be fined more for their legacy issues.
This power outage was a freak occurrence that happened over milliseconds caused by a single lightning strike and a cascade of long-odds failures.
The banks have systematically defrauded customers for years out of billions of pounds and collected bonuses for doing so. The question should be, how many of them are in prison? 10,000? 30,000? and for how long? 6 months? 2 years? 10 years?
The answer is ZERO so far as I am aware.
Banks seem to get away with openly criminal activity time after time.
