Listed in May 2019, Xinyi Energy is a spin-off from its holding company Xinyi Solar and is engaged in solar farm operations in China. The company owns and operates a portfolio of utility-scale ground-mounted solar farm projects located in Anhui, Hubei, Henan, and Fujian provinces, as well as Tianjin municipality, with total approved capacity of 1,494 megawatts by the end of 2019. Parent Xinyi Solar, a leading solar glass manufacturer and solar farm developer, retains a 53% stake in Xinyi Energy.
