Man Group (LSE:EMG) is described as ‘a global leader in alternative investment management’ and is accused of being the world's largest publicly traded hedge fund company! They also have a fascinating factoid, supplying the Royal Navy with daily Rum for sailors from 1784 until 1970, a pretty impressive trading record. Of course, in this time, they also became pretty savvy on things like the sugar, rum, coffee, and cocoa markets.

According to our software, Man Group doesn’t need to do much to become interesting in the near term. If we judge by the emails received, this should be worthy of attention.
Presently trading around the 340p level, Man Group “only” needs to exceed 347.5p to hopefully trigger a cycle upward to an initial 367p with our longer-term secondary, if exceeded, calculating around a future 370p.
All things considered, apparently a future and distant 406p exerts some sort of attraction.
As always, we can propose a converse scenario, one which in this instance is less likely. Below 308p claims a visit to an initial 277p shall be possible with our secondary, if broken, working out at 257p and a bounce.
For now, we feel Man Group shall justify a share price rise.

Alistair Strang has led high-profile and "top secret" software projects since the late 1970s and won the original John Logie Baird Award for inventors and innovators. After the financial crash, he wanted to know "how it worked" with a view to mimicking existing trading formulas and predicting what was coming next. His results speak for themselves as he continually refines the methodology.
