Supporting Strategy has been a bullish run for bitcoin which rallied to eight-month highs this week, temporarily breaking above $87,000 before pulling back. Investors appear to be taking profits after an impressive comeback for the cryptocurrency. But some argue this could just be a pause ahead of another leg higher. There is still a long way for bitcoin to reclaim its all-time high from 6 October 2025 at around $126,200.
Also in focus for crypto investors this week is a pivotal quarterly expiration of around $15-16 billion bitcoin option contracts this Friday.
Meta’s Muse

It has enjoyed very strong demand for its new Muse app, which has grown to become the most downloaded free app on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store in the US and Canada. The AI agent, which can carry out tasks such as booking holidays and helping with administrative tasks, enjoyed 2.8 million downloads in its opening fortnight.

Week Ahead
Micron Technology
Micron Technology Inc (NASDAQ:MU) releases its fiscal fourth-quarter results on Wednesday 30 September after the US market close.
In June, Micron reported an impressive top and bottom-line beat, landing the stock with a double-digit percentage gain.
Demand for memory including Micron’s High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) has exploded thanks to its significant role in the development of AI data centres. Huge demand combined with constrained supply has drawn investors to Micron’s impressive earnings potential.

Fourth-quarter revenue is expected to rise to around $50 billion, roughly three-quarters of which is set to come from DRAM. That would be a ~20% increase from $41.5 billion in the previous quarter which itself was already a very sharp jump from $9 billion in the same quarter last year.
Other memory stocks like Seagate, Western Digital and Sandisk are also worth watching as they could move on Micron’s results day.
According to Refinitiv, shares have rallied nearly 545% over the past year. And although shares have pulled back from the June highs, the stock has been recovering since the end of July, breaking back above the key $1,000 level.
