Regular investments

Regular investing is easy to set up and manage online. You are able to set up to 25 regular monthly investments for each account. These can be in funds (unit trusts and OEICs), popular shares (including the FTSE 350), ETFs and investment trusts.

The minimum monthly investment was £50 and if you set up your instructions online, the charge was £1.50 for each buy trade you make this way.

The minimum monthly investment amount is £25 and if you set up your instructions online, you will pay £0.99 for each buy trade you make this way.

Regular investment direct debits were collected from your account on one of four dates and invested three days following collection.

For any new regular investments you set up after the move, your direct debit will be collected on the 12th of the month and invested on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

You could ask for a £ or % amount of your direct debit to be invested in each of your chosen investments.

You can ask for a £ amount of your direct debit to be invested in each of your chosen investments.

Existing instructions

If you had regular investing instructions linked to a monthly direct debit instruction in place, we have moved these across for you. But we have only done this for investments that are eligible for regular investing with interactive investor.

Your direct debit will continue being collected as before but the trading date for regular investments will move to the 3rd Wednesday of each month. If your instructions currently ask for a % amount of your direct debit to be invested in each of your chosen investments, we will convert this to a £ amount.

You can view and check a list of the regular investment instructions we have moved over, in your interactive investor account.
