Transfer to another provider

You will not be charged a fee for transferring your investments.

However, before transferring you must:

• Ensure you do not hold a negative cash balance.
• Pay any outstanding service plan fees.

Usually, you can make partial transfers out.

If you are transferring an ISA, you can only make partial transfers of previous years’ subscription.

You or your new provider must inform us on the transfer request how much cash you wish to transfer from your previous years’ subscriptions.

We will not automatically close your account once your transfer is complete.

Once the account is empty, you can close your account online.

If your transfer occurs after the ex-dividend date, it is likely that you may receive your dividend in your ii account.

If your ii account is closed, we will send any cash to your new provider on a periodic basis. If your ii account remains open, the cash is available for you to withdraw and will not be forwarded.

If your new provider is unable to accept multiple currencies, we will convert your foreign currency to GBP.

Please note that foreign exchange fees apply to currency conversion.

Your holdings will be liquidated as soon as reasonably practicable on receipt of your new providers instruction. In times of high volume or volatile market conditions you may wish to liquidate any holdings yourself online.

If you have shares which cannot be transferred from a trading or ISA account:

• You may choose to donate this to charity via our ShareGift process.
• For UK shares, you may be able to request a share certificate if the Registrar is able to issue them.

If you are transferring out to a registrar, you will need to ask them for a Form F. After completing the form, please return it to us via secure message.

If you are unable to obtain this form, you will need to withdraw the shares you hold with us into paper share certificates. You can then deposit the shares with the registrar.
