Happy days ahead for GlobalData shares?
A recent sell-off has piqued the interest of independent analyst Alistair Strang. Here's what's his charts say about share price potential.

A trawl of the market picked up GlobalData (LSE:DATA) as being potentially interesting. The company, best summarised as data magpies, has a share price behaving strangely, almost as if the market may have a cunning plan up their sleeve.

Visually, we shall not be aghast if the price reverses to around 138p before bouncing, ideally any bounce taking the price above 160p.
Such a movement should prove capable of triggering price acceleration to an initial 211p, our secondary if bettered calculating at an eventual 238p and some very probable hesitation.
Share price closure, sometime in the future, above 238p shall prove significant, broadcasting game-changing potentials for the share price.
Of course, there's always the risk of things going pear shaped. Closure below 138p would be pretty grim, suggesting the potential of travel down to an eventual (hopeful) bottom at 103p. For now, we suspect the optics suggest some happy days ahead for the company.
